Turtlenecks are special, once you start thinking of them as a second and third layer, rocking them year round becomes easier and you will have many more outfit options. The sweater is from an expensive brand and you can tell in person, which is why this "basic" made the cut.
Introducing this one is simple, it is outfitted in classical naval style, with a soft but heavy weight black cotton woven into a ribbed knit giving the top original character. We love the button's up the neckline, all tight and in a streamlined row. The buttons are functioning, and can be un-buttoned for a "un-folded" look.
We especially love the turtleneck to carry us through the spring with silk maxi-skirts, or thrown over a bikini bottom in the summer for cool clam-bakes.
